About the Doctor

Dan Stuart, DDS, MSc, FRCD(C)

Dr. Dan Stuart is an orthodontist in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who specializes in creating beautiful smiles for all ages.

Dr. Stuart obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University and his Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of Manitoba, where he also completed a residency in Orthodontics. He is a Board Certified orthodontist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists.

Prior to opening his orthodontic office, Dr. Stuart practiced dentistry for five years. He is a public lecturer and a published author. In the past, he has been recognized for his contributions to research and technological innovations in orthodontics.

Dr. Stuart maintains memberships with the Canadian and American Association of Orthodontists, the Canadian Dental Association, the Nova Scotia Dental Association and the Halifax County Dental Society.

Dr. Stuart is the vice president of the Society of Dental Specialists of Nova Scotia, vice president of the Atlantic Association of Orthodontists and he is a the Atlantic Representative and board member of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists.

Dr Stuart resides in Dartmouth with his wife and two daughters.
