Teena
Teena is the friendly face you see as you enter the office, the happy voice you hear on the phone and the one who will make you feel like part of the family by the time you leave. Though her main role is Scheduling Coordinator, Teena designs our contests, supervises our Multimedia needs and ensures your visit with us is fun and easy. A native of Newfoundland, she has made Nova Scotia her home with her two children. On the weekends you can catch Teena at the hockey rink cheering on her favorite player! With a Graphic Design background, she brings an artistic approach to all she does!
Anita
Anita is one of our Receptionists who brings her photographic and artistic flare to the practice. She is the soothing, calm voice that makes patients feel comfortable and the smile you see when you enter our office. Besides working in the Orthodontic industry, Anita is very busy using her photographic skills in weddings, receptions and other family oriented events. She also enjoys spending quality time with her four children and two grandsons.
Natasha
Meet Natasha, who joined our Administration team in 2011. She comes to us with a wealth of customer service experience and loves working with people. Always eager to help, you will find Natasha to be enthusiastic, kind and compassionate. When you visit our office you can always count on her to be efficient and quick, yet never making you feel rushed. Outside of the office she spends as much time as possible with her Son, family & friends. Natasha looks forward to meeting you!
Susan
Susan has over 20 years of dental and office administration experience and joined our team in 2012. You will find Susan’s friendly, welcoming smile at our reception desk. She is dedicated to making your visit a great experience – feel free to ask any questions about your new smile! In her spare time, Susan enjoys spending time with her family & friends, going to the beach, reading and baking fancy desserts!
Shari
Shari is an experienced Financial Coordinator with over 20 years of dental experience and has been part of our team since 2005. As Financial Coordinator, Shari is here to help you with your financial arrangements and any other questions regarding your account. She is well versed in all insurance issues and concerns you might have with verification or eligibility. Outside of work, Shari enjoys golfing and is passionate about long distance running!
Rochelle
As Treatment Coordinator, Rochelle works directly with the doctors to help new patients through the process of getting their braces. With over 20 years of combined experience as a Dental Assistant & Financial Coordinator, she provides patients with the information they need regarding treatment options, fees, payment plans and insurance coverage. A busy soccer Mom of one, Rochelle enjoys dining out, travelling and visiting family & friends on PEI with her husband, daughter and dog Tia!
Lisa
Lisa joined our team in 2005. She graduated from St. Francis Xavier and went on to study Dental Assisting. She is a registered Dental Assistant and certified Orthodontic Assistant. She has extensive training in ‘Suresmile’ and is extremely knowledgeable in the latest technologies within our office. Lisa is a very busy Taxi Mom, driving her three wonderful daughters from one sporting event to another!
Rod
Rod has worked behind the scenes in our in-house laboratory since 2008 making retainers, appliances and indirect bonding trays. He is a Lab Technician with many years of experience and is dedicated to delivering appliances of the highest quality. He is a tremendous asset to our team and when he’s not here he enjoys cooking, music, fishing and spending time with his family and friends!
Kim
Kim has been working with our team since 2004. She brings many years of dental experience to the practice. A graduate of the Dalhousie Dental Hygiene Program, Kim is an outstanding clinician who provides quality care to all our patients. She resides in Cole Harbour with her husband and beloved dog Brian. Kim has a passion for fitness, nutrition and creating beautiful smiles!
Kari
Kari graduated from Dalhousie University with a diploma in Dental Hygiene. She has been working with our team since 2008. She brings to the practice a vast knowledge and understanding of orthodontics, along with a very kind and friendly personality. Kari grew up in Waverley, Nova Scotia and presently resides in Dartmouth. She enjoys reading, movies and telling funny stories about her son!
Lindsay
Lindsay graduated in 2006 from the Dental Hygiene program at Algonquin College located in Ottawa. She is an enthusiastic Hygienist with a keen interest in the specialty of Orthodontics. With her friendly demeanor she will guide and teach the proper techniques and skills of Oral Hygiene care to make your orthodontic experience a pleasant one. Lindsay grew up in Cape Breton and resides in Halifax where she enjoys running and camping in her spare time. She is always up for challenges, loves to laugh and will make you feel right at home!
Coline
Coline is a registered Dental Assistant who graduated from NSCC-IT many moons ago! She is the first clinician you will see before your treatment begins and the last clinician you'll see when your braces come off! Coline has the knowledge and wealth of experience to make your visits easy and relaxed. In her leisure time, Coline enjoys training her Weimaraners, Berlin & Dresden, gardening at her cottage in Tatamagouche and cruising the highways with her husband on their Harley!
Sarah
Sarah graduated from NSCC-IT in 2006 as a registered Dental Assistant and joined our team in 2011. She has been trained in Suresmile technology and performs 3D scans for our patients. Sarah is also taking part in the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting program to expand her skills and knowledge. She enjoys many outdoor activities and also teaches fitness classes as a certified Resistance/Fitness instructor. She balances her active lifestyle, her work and family life. Her energetic, happy-go-lucky personality, make her an asset to our team!
Liana
Originally hailing from Ontario, Liana is a Registered Dental Assistant with previous Orthodontic experience. She will be the one you will most likely meet if you have a child visiting our office for the first time. Liana works closely with the Orthodontist to explain treatment options for our younger patients – we want the best for them! She is a Mom of two, always smiling and will make you and your children feel right at home.
Nicole
Nicole is the latest addition to our team. She is a registered dental assistant and certified orthodontic assistant. You may meet Nicole during an adjustment appointment or when you come in to have your retainers checked. Nicole is also specially trained in our 3-D scanning software for Invisalign. In her spare time Nicole enjoys weekends at her cottage and walking her two dogs.
