Dr. Dan Stuart and his staff are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving orthodontic treatment to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant or registered dental hygienist; and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending the Canadian and American Association of Orthodontists annual meeting.

Carrie MacNeil:
If you need anything done in our office, just see Carrie - as Scheduling Coordinator Carrie gets the job done! Staff, patients & parents have come to rely on her efficient, pleasant manner. As a Registered Dental Assistant, Carrie is able to help out in the clinic or step-up as Treatment Coordinator whenever necessary. A mother of two, her boys are her true passion and she brings that same level of commitment to work everyday no matter what job she's doing!

Teena Peckford:
Teena is our Scheduling Coordinator, who has been with our office for the past four years. She is a native of Newfoundland, who has made Nova Scotia her home for the last sixteen years. She brings to our office her creative background in graphic design that has come in very handy for the many contests we run in our office. Teena loves to get together with friends & family and spend quality time with her son & daughter. She is the smile you see when you enter our office and the person who makes you feel at home by the time you leave!

Rochelle Crosby:
As Treatment Coordinator, Rochelle works directly with Dr Stuart to help new patients through the process of getting their braces. With twenty years of combined experience as a Dental Assistant and Financial Coordinator, she provides patients with the information they need regarding treatment, fees, payment plans and insurance coverage. A busy soccer Mom of one, Rochelle enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, dining out, travelling and visiting family & friends on P.E.I.

Debbie Hines:
Debbie is our Recall Coordinator who sees our younger patients for their initial visits and follow-up examinations until they are ready to begin treatment. She is a registered Dental Assistant and was previously a registered nurse. She has three children and has been happily married for twenty-seven years. She enjoys cooking, swimming and sailing with her family. You can always count on Debbie to greet you with a smile - she loves working in Orthodontics and it shows!

Treena Hilchie:
Treena is our fun-loving girl from the Rock! She is a Registered Dental Assistant and Certified Orthodontic Assistant. She joined our team in 2005 and it has been a laugh ever since. Treena always has a story to tell, her warm presence & easy smile makes our patients feel right at home!

Coline Osborne:
Coline our Clinical Records & X-Ray Technician contributes a wealth of experience to our team, with a very pleasant personality. She has been a Registered Dental Assistant for many years and has the knowledge and experience to make your visit easy and relaxed. In her leisure time, Coline enjoys training her purebred dog Berlin, spending time at her cottage in Tatamagouche and home-crafts (she is also a painting instructor). She is a pleasure to work with!

Rod MacArthur:
Rod has worked behind the scenes in our In-House Laboratory for just over a year, making retainers, appliances and Indirect Bonding Trays. He is a Lab Technician with many years of experience and Rod is dedicated to delivering appliances of the highest quality. He is a tremendous asset to our team with the past experience he brings to our office. After hours he enjoys cooking, music, fishing and spending time with his family and friends!

Lisa MacDonald:
Lisa joined Dr. Stuart & the team in 2005. She graduated from St. Francis Xavier and then went on to study dental assisting. She is a Registered Dental Assistant and Certified Orthodontic Assistant. Lisa is also the proud mother of three wonderful girls which gives her that special touch when working with our patients!

Kim Ross:
Kim has been working with Dr. Stuart since November 2004. She brings 19 years of dental experience to the practice. A graduate of Dalhousie Dental Hygiene Program, Kim is an outstanding clinician who provides quality care for all of our patients. She resides in Cole Harbour with her husband Graeme. Kim has a passion for fitness, nutrition and her dog Brian. She is always smiling!

Kari Campbell:
Kari graduated from Dalhousie University with a diploma in Dental Hygiene. She has been working with Dr. Stuart since August 2008. She brings to the practice a vast knowledge and understanding of orthodontics, along with a very kind & friendly personality. Kari grew up in Waverly, Nova Scotia and presently resides in Dartmouth with her husband Jeff and beautiful baby boy Brady. She enjoys reading, movies and telling funny stories about Brady!

Shari Thurston:
Shari is an experienced Financial Coordinator with twenty years of dental experience and has been with Dr. Stuart since 2005. As Financial Coordinator, Shari is here to help you with your financial arrangements. She is well versed in all Insurance issues and concerns you might have with verification or eligibility. In her spare time Shari enjoys golfing with her husband and is passionate about long distance running!
